For the apostle Paul something happened to him when he met Jesus. He was totally transformed. He already knows what it’s like to be fully known, fully loved and fully forgiven.
It’s a miracle. A miracle that Paul can’t forget.
God knew him personally – he knew the worst about him and still loved him. There’s nothing that Paul did that could make God love him less. And there’s nothing that Paul could do that could make God love him more.
Imagine how content Paul is in that? How secure? How much freedom comes from knowing and being known by the loving God of the universe through whom you can live like you have nothing to hide?
Imagine if you had nothing to hide from God? From others? From yourself? Imagine the contented joy that you would feel?
