YOUTH CAMPS

LEADERSHIP CAMP (Gr. 6-8)

Every teen is different, and they all have great talents. When they start to discover them, they can begin to understand what makes them special and how they can use their talents to do things really well, not just in the present but far into the future! In the mornings, we will be learning more about what makes each individual unique and wonderful. We’ll be diving into the Clifton Youth Strengths Explorer workbook by The Gallup Organization. In the afternoons, we will be participating in fun activities including bowling, archery tag, Skyzone, and more!

Dates: July 4-8, 2022
Time: 9:00 am to 4:00 pm
Ages: Grade 6 to 8 (as of September 2021)
Location: Cornerstone Centre, 9680 Ninth Line, Markham, ON
Cost: Early Bird $200 (until May 31), Regular $225

Please bring a nut-free packed lunch and snacks and a refillable water bottle. Lunch will be provided on Friday, July 8.

LEADERSHIP CAMP (Gr. 9-12)

CliftonStrengths for Students (formerly StrengthsQuest) helps students grow confident in who they are and how they can contribute to the world. This educational program uses Gallup’s world-renowned CliftonStrengths assessment to measure 34 research-validated talent themes. Participants will be guided in the development of their talents into strengths with resources tailored for students. They will discover what makes them unique and how their strengths shape their approach to work, decision-making, relationships, and more. By focusing on what students do best, our aim is to individualize learning, support wellbeing and prepare students for the workplaces of tomorrow.

The morning sessions will be focused on the CliftonStrengths materials, and the afternoon sessions will consist of fun activities including bowling, archery tag, Skyzone and more!
