Preschool Classroom Leaders

We need energetic leaders to show these inquisitive little ones how BIG and AWESOME the God we serve is! Curriculum with cool story ideas and interactive activities is provided

Toddler Play Leaders

Toddler play leaders get on the floor and vroom vroom cars or delight in shakers and bubbles. We need you to have a caring and calm attitude to help these youngest churchgoers learn that StarKids is a safe and loving place to be.

Check-In Hosts

Check-in hosts know that first impressions matter. They are tech savvy with warm welcoming attitudes!

Welcome Ministry


Greeters are an essential part of our Sunday experience. This team welcomes regular members and visitors with a smile or handshake as they arrive at the doors. They also help orientate visitors if they need assistance finding classrooms or other facilities.


This team helps direct our guests to empty seats for worship on Sundays. Some other responsibilities will be the collection of tithes, distributing promotional materials, counting attendance, etc.


This team will prepare in advance refreshments and simple snacks for our guests prior to and/or post services.


This team will be responsible for sanitization of the chairs in the auditorium, door handles/rails and commonly used surfaces in between services.


This is our first welcome touch point to Cornerstone. You will help our guests find a parking spot but most importantly be the first to welcome them!

Worship Ministry

Music Director

This role works closely with our Worship team during Tuesday night rehearsals and on Sundays to help guide the band with cues, transitions and the occasional wisecrack. You should have a good sense of music, time and attention to detail. Lots of training will be provided, including opportunities to shadow and learn alongside other MDs.
Commitment: 1/month

Stage Manager

This organized and detail-oriented person helps coordinate various moving parts of the service and the movement of people within it. They make sure everyone is where they need to be when they need to be there. Ample training provided.
Commitment – 1/month

Communion Team Member

11:30AM Service
The communion team assists with the preparation of the communion elements and the distribution of communion to the congregation. At this time, our church celebrates communion on the first Sunday of the month.
Commitment – 1/month, possibly every 2 months


Brought together by a common passion for worshiping God through music, our band has a lot of fun rehearsing on Tuesday evenings and playing together on Sundays! If you are interested in serving, and play one of these instruments, we’d love to connect.

Digital Music Coordinator

For aspiring musicians and producers – this role gets your feet wet using a Digital Audio Workstation like LogicPro or Ableton to add to the overall sound of the band. If you’re interested in learning, lots of training is provided.
Commitment: Bi-weekly

Audio Team

If you love listening to music and have a good ear, and want to learn more about sound, digital audio and mixing, this could be the role for you. Lots of training is provided, with opportunities to shadow and train alongside experienced members of the team.
Commitment: Tuesday Night Rehearsals and Sunday both services 1/month, perhaps more often if needed and if your schedule allows

Worship Set Coordinator

This remote work role provides critical support to the Worship team by helping to prepare documents used in rehearsal and on Sundays. If you are organized and detail oriented this is the role for you. Lots of training is provided and work can be done flexibly.
Commitment: Bi-weekly

Set Construction

If you love building things and consider yourself an expert with power tools, we’d love to connect with you!  Occasionally, we need skilled people to help us build sets for the stage, props or other projects for special events, as needed.
Commitment – As needed, on a per project basis

Youth Ministry

Small Group Leaders

9:30 am and 11:30 am classes
Using the curriculum, small group leaders will assist the teacher by guiding groups of students through the questions as well as helping them with the Bible study part of the class.


Looking for teachers for the 9:30 grades 6-8 class. Curriculum is provided.


9:30 am and 11:30 am classes
You will assist the teacher by helping to operate the google slides as well as hand out Bibles, pens, paper, etc.

Assistants Students with Exceptionalities

You will provide support to students with exceptionalities in order to facilitate integration.

Check-in Team

9:30 am and 11:30 am classes
You will welcome students as they come to class. You’ll get them to sign in and enter them into the computer.

Outreach Ministry

Grocery and Delivery Team

Support families, seniors, and other individuals in our community by picking up groceries for those in our community who need extra support during this season.

Outreach Prep Team

Provide support for the different outreach ministries at Cornerstone through sorting donations, prepping supplies, packing care packages, or anything else needed to help care for and support our community.

Social Worker Support

We are looking for individuals with social work experience to provide advice and support to our outreach projects.

Street Outreach

Each week our team visits those living on the streets in Toronto. Join us in supporting our friends on the streets through sorting donations, preparing sandwiches and other food, or serving with our teams downtown.

Food Pantry

Help the Cornerstone Food Pantry’s shelves remain well stocked by joining the shopping team and picking up much needed items to support families in our community.

Production Ministry

Camera Operator

If you love the idea of creating films and sharing ideas but prefer to stay behind the scenes, you might make a perfect fit for a job as a camera operator. You will be filming our live worship services on Sundays.

Livestream Monitor

You get to help shape the final version of the Livestream, make tweaks to on-screen graphics and video, and engage with the online crowd. This role allows for constructive feedback to help refine the experience for our church family attending online.
