ARCHERY
This class is for teens and adults with intermediate and advanced skills. Coached by a nationally certified instructor (NCCP Level 1), you will practice archery techniques and safety followed by progressive target shooting. All equipment provided. You are welcome to bring your own equipment if you wish.

CRAFT & CHAT
This is a place where creativity and conversation meet in a relaxed, welcoming space.
If you love crafting, enjoy a hobby, or just want a place to unwind, this space is for you. No experience needed. No pressure. Just come as you are. Bring your own project, or join a guided instructional session, or just sit, create, and chat. We believe some of the best conversations happen when our hands are busy.

GUIDED INSTRUCTIONAL SESSION
Introduction to Knitting – Knit Stitch
In this guided session, you’ll learn how to cast on and focus on practicing the foundational knit stitch. Perfect for beginners or anyone wanting a refresher, we’ll build confidence with hand positioning, tension, and rhythm. All supplies provided.

Introduction to Knitting – Purl Stitch
This session is all about the purl stitch, a key technique that adds texture and depth to your knitting. Whether you’re new to it or looking to strengthen your skills, we’ll guide you through the steps and help you feel comfortable with the motion and flow. All supplies provided.

ESSENTRICS
A dynamic, full body workout suitable for men and women of all fitness levels, that simultaneously combines stretching and strengthening while engaging all 650 muscles. This class will increase flexibility and mobility for a healthy, toned and pain-free body.

FAMILY BADMINTON
Looking for an exciting activity that will bring your family closer together? Come out and enjoy some time with your family playing badminton! Children must be accompanied by an adult. Please bring your own equipment.

Parent and Tot at Cornerstone is a friendly, welcoming place for families to spend time together. Each week, little ones enjoy free play, circle time, songs, and stories that help them grow in confidence and get ready for daycare or school. Everyone’s welcome, and we’d love for you to come, connect, and grow with us.

- Indoor gymnasium shoes are required.
- Protective sports eyewear is highly recommended.
- 4 indoor courts with doubles play.
- Bring your own paddle. Beginner paddles and indoor balls are provided.
Open Play: Join this session for casual, doubles games with novice to intermediate players. New to pickleball? You’re welcome to join, we’ll pair you with a leader or experienced player who can walk you through the rules and help you get started.
Drills and Play: Build confidence and strengthen your foundational pickleball skills through instruction-led drills and guided game play. This session is ideal if you have played for a while, already understand the rules, can rally at a medium level, and want to improve your consistency. If you are new to pickleball, we recommend starting with the Open Play session.
- Dedicated skill-focused drills (e.g. forehand and backhand rallies, purposeful dinking, volley placement, serve returns, third-shot drops, game strategies)
- Supervised game play with individual coaching tips
- Capacity: Maximum 16 players

TABLE TENNIS
Bring a friend and enjoy this recreational sport. Here is a chance to meet others in the neighbourhood who share the same passion for the game. Equipment is provided.

YOUTH RECREATION
At this program, our dedicated coaches teach various skills and talk about the importance of developing character both on and off the court. We use the 10 traits from York Region’s Character Matters Program. Players divide into teams and play games! We’ll explore sports like ultimate frisbee, handball, and others.
Ages: 11 – 14 yrs (Grades 6 – 8)
Dates: Wednesdays, Apr 8 – May 27, 2026
Time: 4:30 pm – 6:00 pm

Fee: $50 (one-time fee per semester)
YOUTH AFTER SCHOOL DROP-IN
This free after-school program provides an adult-supervised space where students can study, play video games, table tennis, foosball, board games, and more while hanging out with other teens in a safe environment. On some weeks, teachers may also be on hand to support students through a homework club. Each participant must complete a registration form upon arrival. Proof of age (student ID) is required.
Ages: 11 – 18 yrs (Grades 6 – 12)
