In the Old Testament, when God’s people were emerging from the crisis of a long and arduous exile in a foreign land, their leaders Ezra and Nehemiah told them:
“Do not grieve, for the joy of the Lord is your strength.” (Nehemiah 8:10)
These last few years of crisis have been hard and at times exhausting. But now, God is inviting us to find new strength in the joy of the Lord. This message explores 5 characteristics of biblical joy.
