Jesus asked “What do you want me to do for you?” not once, but twice. But it’s a trick question!
This question seems to incorporate all of the other questions that Jesus has asked. It gets to the heart of our faith. According to Mark these questions were posed on Palm Sunday – the week before the Passover (Easter). Right before the culmination of his ministry Jesus asks “What do you want me to do for you?
And this is a question that Jesus continues to challenge us with every day.
Will you treat Jesus like a Genie giving you free wishes or as the son of God inviting you into a great adventure?
