Pontius Pilate once asked Jesus, “What is truth?” (see John 18:37-38a)
It’s a question that’s on people’s minds these days especially. Some even say we’re now living in a “Post-Truth” world. And many argue that truth is relative. My truth is true to me, and your truth is true to you. But what happens when our truth claims collide? Who gets to decide what’s actually true? Which leads us right back to Pilate’s question: “What is truth?”
This message explores how the Gospel of John answers that question. Specifically, John shows us that Jesus reveals the definitive truth about God, and the Holy Spirit guides us into all truth.
