Can you remember a time when you were moved by beauty? Whether it’s expressed in nature, art, music, literature or anything else, beauty can evoke powerful feelings and awaken deep longings within us. Have you ever wondered why that is? Could is be that we unconsciously sense there is Someone who stands behind all beauty? Could it be that in a language beyond words, our longings are pointing us to the ultimate Beautiful One, the One who is the Source of all beauty? This message explores the theme of beauty from the perspective of John’s gospel, where we learn of the beauty of God’s presence in Jesus, as well as the beauty of creation’s renewal through Jesus.
