You see, an owner has rights but a steward has a responsibility. An owner has the right to use their resources however they want. Why? Because it’s theirs; they own it.
But it’s different if you’re a steward. If you’re a steward, you don’t get to use your resources for just yourself. Why? Because it doesn’t belong to you. It belongs to the owner. And your job is to manage the resources you’ve been entrusted with not according to what you want to do with them, but according to what the owner wants you to do with them.
