A Spirit-Led Encounter

Scripture: Acts 8:26–40

The Holy Spirit is actively at work in the lives of people around us, often setting up meaningful, personal encounters that we’re invited to step into. Through the story in Acts 8, we see that God cares deeply about individuals—not just crowds—and uses ordinary people like Philip to reach one person at a time. As followers of Jesus, we’re called to be attentive to the Spirit’s promptings, willing to respond with simple obedience, and aware that God is already working in others before we even step in.

Instead of feeling pressure to have all the answers, we’re invited to simply point people to Jesus—the center of the good news and the One who brings restoration, healing, and new life. As we do, we become part of God’s ongoing work in the world, bringing glimpses of His kingdom into everyday moments. And we live with the hope that one day, that kingdom will fully come—when everything is made new and God’s restoration is complete.
