On Our Way Home

SATURDAY

The weekend has come and this is the final few hours. We spent Saturday doing “touristy” things around Thunder Bay. We visited Sleeping Giant Provincial Park and saw the lookout 100m over Lake Superior. Drove over and hiked to the Sea Lion trail to see the rock formation.

We returned after the day to the Cove to begin to tidy and pack. We had dinner and then in the evening a few of us headed back to the lookout to see the Milky Way and the Northern Lights.  Creation is truly amazing!

Sunday we packed and headed to Rockwood Church- where Bera and Bonita attend and they partner with Northwind.

Afterwards headed back to the office for a team lunch.  You can see from the photos the games room where they host the families who come in for family strengthening. The family members can play while others are in counselling.
