I’m getting baptized because I feel it is a good way to start off doing God’s will… I have been thinking about doing it for the last few months. I want to read you part of a letter I got from a church called “HOPE.” This letter encourages me when times go wrong and when times go just fine. God is talking to you and me through this message. “When you are broken hearted I am close to you. For I am your greatest encourager. If you seek me with all your heart you will find me. I love you with an everlasting love.” The part that really encourages me is the part that says, “If you seek me with all your heart you will find me.” Deuteronomy 4:29 That part is REALLY true.

I was in bed one night, and I just felt God reaching out to me to get baptized. From then on I started to think about it and pray to God about what to do. A little while later, I saw my dad doing his devotions. I decided to do it as well. From then on, I started to grow closer and closer to God.

My great grandpa passed away a few years ago, he was not a Christian but I begged God for him to become a Christian. Right before he died he became a Christian. So that is a little encouragement that God is always watching and caring for you. When you seek God the door will be opened to you and you will be welcomed into God’s family.

I go to a Christian school and I have a Christian family. I hope to share the good news of Jesus with the whole world.
