Pursuit Parent Night

Cornerstone Pursuit will be teaching from a new series titled Christian Sexuality: Conversations Surrounding Sex, Jesus, & Gender (starting with grades 11-12’s)

One of the things I know as your youth pastor is that the biggest questions around faith often deal with sex and sexuality. God’s authority, love, design for sex, porn, masturbation, same-sex sexuality, and dating are just a few of the many topics that will be discussed in this series. No stone will be left unturned.

No doubt a series like this will leave you with many questions. This is why we are hosting a parent night to introduce the series to you and answer any questions you might have.

Parents, Pursuit wants to partner with you in this conversation. We will find the most success in serving our youth if we work together. To be honest, your voice in your child’s life is way more important than mine. Study after study confirms this truth.

Parents, if you are silent in this area, it can communicate that sex and sexuality are inherently shameful. We know youth will benefit from your voice being heard. Your voice matters! This youth ministry will have its greatest success when we work together to serve your children.
