3 SESSIONS
ABOUT
How do you handle a difficult conversation? What do you do when your work is not recognized or valued, you have a challenging neighbour, or you need to bring up a sensitive topic with your family member?
If we are truly honest, we all struggle with managing conversations when the stakes are high, emotions run strong, and opinions vary. In these situations, we either avoid the challenging conversation, or if we do engage in a conversation, we often handle it poorly. Yet honest, meaningful and collaborative conversations improve the quality of all our relationships—whether it be our personal relationships or our professional ones.
This three-session workshop is based on the book Crucial Conversations. Together we will learn about the key ingredients that make up a crucial conversation, discover strategies that help us to enter important and challenging conversations in a way that protects the relationship and brings deeper understanding to all parties, and explore biblical principles about our speech.
