BRIAN PARRY
There was a time when I carried pain from family and friends that was so deep it felt impossible to let go. I held onto past wounds, resentment, and bitterness to protect me.
Jesus showed me that true freedom comes through forgiveness and with his strength, I can release the hurt and truly forgive.
Jesus healed me from physical pain and opened my eyes and gave me vision—reminding me that no matter how uncertain life seemed, everything would be fine because He was in
control. I no longer have to chase after the things of this world for fulfillment. The temporary pleasures, the endless striving, the need for approval—it all pales in comparison to the
peace I’ve found in Him.
One of the greatest changes He made in me was teaching me I can put my ego aside. I used to love on my own terms, but Jesus taught me to love selflessly, to care for others
without expecting anything in return.
There were moments I felt completely alone, but Jesus never left me. I got tired of going in circles arguing, making the same mistakes, and ending up in the same empty places. That’s
when I finally said, “Jesus, take the wheel.” And He did.
Now, I don’t just want to talk about the gospel—I want to be the gospel. I want my life to reflect His love, grace, and truth. Not through empty words, but through real actions, real
change, and real faith.
Jesus saved me, changed me, and set me free. And for that, I will forever praise Him.
