Video Producer (35 hrs/wk)
Tasks and responsibilities
In collaboration with the Youth Pastor the Video Producer will:
- Film and edit weekly lessons for students grades 6-12 (content provided)
- Attend and gather footage from youth events for use in promoting further programs.
- Generate graphics and tags for social media including YouTube and Instagram
- Recruit and train youth to participate in content creation and delivery
- Explore ways to connect youth to the community so that they can discover and meet the needs of those around them
- Administrative work as required
- All filming is to be done onsite
Qualifications
- Proficient in setting up lighting and video equipment necessary for filming
- Collaborative, team player
- Excellent communication, organizational, and analytical skills
- Ability to be efficient, timely, and reliable in a teamwork setting
Work Contract
- A successful candidate has at least 2 years experience
- Contract Term: Jul 10 – Sep 3 (8 weeks)
- Part-time hours: 35 hrs per week
- Job Types: Part-time, Contract
- Salary: $18.50 per hour
- Reports to Youth Pastor
